So, it is that time of year again, and I am excited about this year's superbowl. I want to share with you some information so that you can watch the superbowl online if you are not able to watch it on satellite or cable. It also is great if you have to work during the superbowl and you are next to a computer.
I am going to go over what you are going to need to watch the superbowl online live. It is a lot easier than you think.
The first thing that you are going to need is a computer. It doesn't have to be the best computer either. I would recommend that anything 5 years or newer. Anything in that range should work fine. I have a 5 year old dell that I use, and it works great.
The second thing that you are going to need is an internet connection. I do recommend that you have broadband, but it is not required. If you are using dial-up, you will notice that it may stutter some and you will not have as good quality. I use an old DSL connection that I had installed around 2 or 3 years ago, and it works fine.
Other than these two things, all that you are going to need is software. The software will allow you to get satellite on your pc. It really is a simple process that just takes a simple install to get going. You are not going to have to buy any kind of hardware for this to work. You just need the software.
The software I am talking about is called Satellite TV for PC. It is built so that you will be able to watch TV on your pc. It does have a one time fee of around $50, but you will be able to use it forever without ever paying again.
So, in order to watch the superbowl online live, you are going to need a computer, the internet, and a piece of software. Other than those three things, you are good to go. Just to show you how I have used this software...I was able to watch last year's superbowl online while I was at work...pretty awesome stuff!
